    On June 25, 2019, Connecticut state legislators signed off on a comprehensive paid FMLA leave insurance program for employees…the most generous paid-family-leave benefit in the country.

    This new program offers another option to employees who need medically-related time off, and will co-exist and interact with other statutory leaves:   CT State Family Medical Leave, the federal Family Medical Leave Act, Connecticut’s new Paid Sick Leave program.
