SPRING RECRUITING READINESS FOR HR STUDENTS

SHRM Western CT is partnering with the HR Association of Central CT to offer this webinar.  SHRMWC members and guests will register via the HRACC website.

Preparing for spring recruiting season can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re competing for internships and entry-level HR roles.  This interactive virtual session is designed specifically for HR students looking to stand out in today’s competitive job market, and for those looking to feel more confident in their job search tools and professional branding.

• Tips for writing strong bullet points that showcase skills and results
• How to optimize your LinkedIn profile to attract recruiters and grow your HR network
• Best practices for networking and professional outreach on LinkedIn
• How to complete and optimize profiles on Handshake and 12Twenty.

OUR SPEAKER
Jen Carty, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Jen has over 15 years’ experience in Human Resources in various industries including Retail, Manufacturing, and Hospitality. Currently the Director of Talent Acquisition at Magna Hospitality Group, where she performs and manages the full recruitment life cycle. Jen is the College Relations Director and President-Elect for HRACC. She is also an Adjunct Professor at both Southern New Hampshire University and Central Connecticut State University, where she teaches HR courses.
